Hiroko Takeuchi

Coloratura soprano Hiroko Takeuchi began her musical training at Nihon University in Tokyo, where she earned a master's degree in voice with a focus on song and oratorio. She continued her studies in Vienna, where she refined advanced techniques and stylistic subtleties of singing under the guidance of Kammersängerin Olivera Miljakovic and Yelda Kodalli.

Hiroko first gained attention in 2008 when she won first prize at the Great Wall of China Vocal Competition in Tokyo. Following this success, she made her operatic debut as Gilda in Verdi's Rigoletto at the Stara Zagora State Opera in Bulgaria.

She went on to delight audiences in a variety of roles, including Lucia in Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor, Oscar in Verdi's Un Ballo in Maschera, Despina in Mozart's Così fan tutte, Lauretta in Puccini's Gianni Schicchi, Grilletta in Haydn's Der Apotheker, and Papagena in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte.

In addition to her operatic career, Hiroko has showcased her talent in numerous concerts and stage performances across Germany, Japan, Austria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, and Bulgaria.
